Excellent clubs for a beginner

I bought these as my first set of clubs, and i have been out with them 6 times now. I think these are pretty good, i used my buddies set that were way more expensive than these, and they felt pretty much the same. The only thing i would add is a driver, other than that, the bad is solid and well made, the clubs are holding up very well in my inexperienced hands and golf is actually way more fun than i thought it would be. I would totally buy these again

O.K beginner set

This is a o.k. set for a beginner. The quality is what is to be expected for a cheap set. Knowing this, you should not expect a high quality product. The three wood broke the first time I used it. The head broke of and when further than the ball. I e-mailed Golf-outlet with the details and pictures. They sent back and said they would replace ASAP. The new one should be here tomorrow(I hope). The 9 iron head is loose, so I put alittle glue on it. It is now perfect. The bag is really nice, the way it stands up. If you are a beginner, go with this set. Just get a driver to go with it.

None of my buddies believed me!

Okay, so i'm a very beginner and needed a golf clubs set and started looking and ordered these by just looking at the reviews which i really believed would give me a big reason for buying it and not spend at least 200 bucks for a set(saw one in golfsmith store). Got my set yesterday and went for a 18 hole game today and i was simply amazed by how much these clubs are efficient when it comes to hitting. I should mention here that by just looking at the clubs closely you will easily see the finishing on the club is not great but hey you just cant complain how well they play. Clubs missing from the set are a Driver and a Sand wedge (at least for me). It was my first ever Golf game and i was very pleased with my effort. None of my buddies believed it was my first game but i said to myself what a great compliment that is that they are really suspecting :-). I hope i get to play more of this game. Love it! All beginners out there just buy this set without a second thought. The icing on the cake is the Free Shipping it comes with, amazing! I believe this is my first review of my numerous purchases on Amazon but i couldn't stop myself writing a review for this one. Go get it! Good luck!

Don't forget to get a good driver, too

I just ordered 2 sets of these clubs after reading the reviews, and one of the reviews stated that the bag does not contain a driver, so I went to the web site for the sporting goods company, and purchased a really expensive driver ($300 list price) for only $9.00. I was able to link the purchase through Amazon, since they are a partner. Ram Golf- FX 400cc Titanium 10° Driver. From the reviews, I see that it is best to purchase the driver as well. Great Product, Great Service

Keep in mind you're buying a cheap set of clubs. There's no driver, the 3W is graphite, and every other club is steel. They all swing great, and are well worth the price without the bag. The bag is great though, and it could easily run more than $30 itself. I had the clubs stolen from my front porch when UPS dropped them off, and Golf Outlets of America was great about getting me another set. I would have no reservations about doing business with them again.
