Best Pocket Knife (2008-07-16)
This is the third one I've bought over last 25 years or so. Lost the previous two.
Scissors larger than the cheaper model; work great for cutting fishing line, opening plastic bags, other small tasks. Nail file has machined file face which works very well. The two blades are about right. Orange peeler blade worthless except for end which can be used as small flat blade screwdriver. Tweezers occasionally useful, toothpick is worthless.
The Swiss Army does it again (2008-07-12)
Great balance between size and function. Does almost everything from peeling an orange to tightening the screws in the front door hinge. Also works as a knife.
Excellent small knife! (2008-06-01)
This is my third Victorinox Executive pocket knife. (Lost one, gave one to a friend.) I collect pocket knives so I think I know a little on the subject. I sometimes also carry a larger knife for heavier cutting duties, but I always have this one in my pocket. Always. The scissors are top quality, the blades come sharp and are easy to resharpen, the nail file is very good - I've even loaned it to ladies who are suprised by the job it does. OK, the orange peeler is sort of silly, but even it does a good job of peeling oranges the three times a year one might want to do such a thing. If you're thinking of buying this knife, stop thinking. Just buy it, you won't be sorry.

P.E.R.F.E.C.T. (2007-12-18)
The Executive is perfect. I've owned one since spring of 2006 and it has never let me down since. I lost it once but my dog found it for me. I think the size of this knife is perfect, it is not as small as they come nor as big as they come. It is still big enough for heavy use however. This knife is a better option than the big Victorinox knife.
I used to think that the tweezers, toothpick, orange-peeler, and nail file were pretty much useless, but they really arn't. I can't go a day now without all these tools! These knives will last forever...I promise....but they will scratch and so on. But who cares ya'll! This is the perfect knife and gift for anyone who loves good ol' fashioned quality.
