Beware!!!!!!!! (2008-09-10)
To be fair, I must admit that I didn't buy this item from Amazon, but it is, nonetheless, the very same item that I did purchase.

When this item arrived I found that the majority of the components were far less than heavy duty. As a matter of fact, a couple of them had actually been bent in transit. Unfortunately, I was able to straighten them with my bare hands.

Here's a couple of other observations:
1. A few of the bolts were improperly threaded necessatating a road trip to Lowe's to be able to finish the job.
2. The 1/8" thick hardboard shelf bottoms warped almost immediately. Therefore, you can't just set your bag in this contraption and expect it to stay. You must be careful to lean and balance the bag correctly to assure that you gear won't fall out on the floor.
3. The lower of the two upper shelves (those directly above the bags)is not 45" above the bottom shelf where the bags rest. So, a contemporary length driver is too tall to fit in there. I had to leave those shelves off.
4. When I was done, I sat down on the bench to try it out. The tabs holding it together immediately collapsed dumping me on my can.

The reason that I found this one on Amazon is that I'm going to by a replacement for this one and send it to the dump.

Golf Organizer Rack with Bench As advertised. The rack showed up in perfect shape. The assembly instructions were somewhat lacking with only pictures for reference. Previous reviews told me not to install one of the lower shelves so my new driver/bag would fit and that worked like a champ. The bench is sturdy, but a little bit of a pain to install since there are no pre-drilled screw holes. All in all, worth the money, hooks are handy and holds all my stuff.

Worth the aggrevation (2008-02-11)
Be prepared to spend a good 2 hours putting this thing together. Only directions come from pictures, no other documentation, so take your time and put your patience cap on. Once together, when I went to put my bag into the space, I found that it wouldn't fit, unlike the picture in the ad, I had my cover on, so my woods wouldn't fit. My solution...I took the bottom shelf off and my bag fits like a charm. The other thing I did was to remove the top metal cover as well and leave the upper shelf open. My reasoning is that the top metal cover has its sides bent down which prevents you from putting anything into that top shelf that isn't 3" or thinner. Once I removed that top piece, it makes a great place to store my shoes. There is a ton of storage space with this thing and the extra hooks provided expand the unit even more. I can hang up 2 sets of shoes w/o any problem. The seat is a little mysterious as there is a wire latch, but nothing to tell you how to utilize it. I know I sound like I'm not happy with my purchase, but after modifying it, it works like a charm. I now have tons of storage for balls, shoes, hats and jackets AND it makes my storage shed much much neater. Only thing that I would like to see done better would be the instructions. 8/10

Love this product! I needed something for my collection of sports equipment. It holds my bowling bag, my yoga bag, my tennis racket bag, all my sports balls in the bench, my portable fold up sports chairs, tennis shoes, jump ropes! It's great for organizing all your sports equipment, not just golf! Thank You!!

i would not reccommend this product. i would rather do chinese arithmetic than put this together again. it took a long time and i am good at this type of thing. the unit is ok but not as good as it looks. hope this was helpful
